Vacuum Degassing Systems
A vacuum degassing system is used to remove entrapped gasses from a liquid. When a vacuum is applied on the outside of the liquid, the entrapped gasses will begin to expand and buoy towards the surface and pulled out of the liquid. Likewise the gasses will also travel from a higher pressure towards a lower pressure and hence be pulled through the process of diffusion out of the liquid. Entrapped gasses may cause impurities especially when the entrapped air bubbles are too small to be seen with the naked eye. Furthermore, any mixing of liquid or stirring of two liquids will introduce air and gasses into the mixture. Many times it is required to remove the unwanted gasses from the mixture.
We are happy to provide you with a complete ready to go, right out of the box - just plug in the vacuum pump – vacuum degassing system. You have several choices when it comes to getting a vacuum chamber. The shapes are cube, square, or cylindrical. The material is either acrylic or stainless steel. The vacuum pump can either be a rotary vane pump or an oil free piston pump. Depending on the viscosity of the liquid you are degassing, you will need the appropriate vacuum pump – the higher the viscosity the stronger vacuum pump you will need. One more nice thing we offer you is the ability to place this degassing system onto a table structure or a portable skid.
