Description

Altitude Simulation System, made by Sanatron, fully setup and ready to go. This Altitude simulation system will allow you to simulate altitudes inside the vacuum chamber up to 45 miles / milliTorr (25 micron). A full Turn-Key System included are a Front Door Loading Stainless Steel Acrylic Vacuum Chamber (to view your chamber inside), cube 36 inch inside dimensions, a 7 CFM rotary vane vacuum pump, an altitude simulation controller, all sitting on a table frame that includes four lockable swivel casters.

This system will enable you to simulate any altitude up to 45 miles. (NOTE: If you need higher altitudes, we can make that happen, contact us) The mode of operation is that you close the vacuum chamber lid, clamp it, set your attitude, press start and watch the vacuum pump ramp up the vacuum inside the chamber. Once the set altitude has been reached, the vacuum valve will close, and the chamber will hold this altitude for as long as needed. You also have the ability to program your recipe and set and hold several altitudes.

Many of our altitude simulation systems are customized to our clients specifications and requirements. Therefore, if you need a vacuum feedthrough, or if you need to run thermocouples into the chamber, please contact us and we can make that happen. Furthermore, anything on this system can be customized so be sure to let us know how we can help you build your system.

Vacuum Chamber and Pump Systems
Our Vacuum Chamber and pump systems are fully setup and ready to go. What you get is a vacuum chamber, a vacuum pump, and connection hardware. We carry acrylic or metallic vacuum chambers and a whole range of vacuum pumps from Rotary Vane, Piston, or Venturi. What type of vacuum chamber and pump system you want depends on your project requirement, budget, and other specifications.
Rotary Vane Vacuum Pumps
Rotary Vane Vacuum Pumps are the most widely used vacuum pump in the industry. When it comes to performance at a reasonable price, rotary vane vacuum pumps are the way to go. Many Rotary Vane Pumps can achieve 2 to 5 milliTorr vacuum rating at a good volumetric flowrate (2 to 20 CFM) at a very reasonable price (hundreds to a few thousand dollars)
Our Work: Nuclear Imaging Research using Acrylic Vacuum Chamber
Nuclear imaging is quickly becoming more and more sophisticated and images unimaginable twenty years ago are become reality – think about the recent image of a single atom. Nuclear imaging is detection is a highly technological field.
Related Articles: Force Decay Leak Testing
Force Decay Leak Testing is a very popular quantitative leak testing method used to quality test package and product integrity due to its ability to detect small leaks which cannot be seen through visual inspection. In this method, the test specimen is internally inflated by either internal pressurization or vacuum force. The inflated test specimen will, in turn, apply a force on a pressure transducer. Finally, the change in force applied by the inflated specimen over a specified time is observed.
