Description

Welch Mini Vacuum Blower Model 2700 offers high volumetric flow rate of 100 CFM at a very small compact size. This blower can run in two modes: (1) this blower can be backed by either an oil free vacuum pump or by an oil sealed vacuum pump ? using this setup will increase the volumetric flowrate of the pumping system by a factor of 5 of the highest flowing pump while increasing the vacuum capabilities of the best pump ? this means that you will get the best of both worlds. Or (2) the mini vacuum blower can be operated as a stand-alone (contrary to popular consensus) and generate a vacuum of 350 Torr which is about half atmosphere.

This blower can also be used to pump solvents and corrosive vapors due to the fact that it has protective coatings on its internal parts. Most blowers are connected to the inlet of a vacuum pump whether that be a rotary vane or an oil-free vacuum pump.

It is not recommended to use this blower as a stand alone pump as other options are recommended. The best way to use the blower is to use it as a part of a pumping system to geometrically and symbiotically increase the vacuum system pump performance and service life.

The advantages of a Roots Vacuum Pump is that the Pumping Speed can be increased by a factor of 5 up to a factor of 10; meaning that a 20 CFM Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump can now be boosted to pump 120 CFM!

Chamber must be insured during return shipping for the price that you paid for and in a non-damaged condition. Return Policy does NOT apply to custom items, jobs, or products. If you have asked us to modify any of our standard products, you will not be able to return your item.
