Description

Welch Belt Drive vacuum pump model 1397 giving you an ultimate vacuum of 0.001 Torr (1 micron) and a volumetric flow rate of 17.7 CFM. These belt driven rotary vane vacuum pumps are ruggedized and built to perform and last in demanding environments and applications.

The Belt Driven Rotary Vane Pump has a high oil capacity which also yields a high contamination tolerance. Furthermore, the lower operational RPM, which is about 3 times less than a direct drive rotary vane pump, will result in a longer service life due to lower operational temperature (about 10 degrees less) and less wear and tear.

The trade-off are that these types of pumps are heavier than its direct drive rotary vane counterparts, require more oil, and have more moving parts such as wheel and pulley.

Altitude simulation systems are devices that simulate a certain altitude equivalent by controlling the vacuum inside a vacuum chamber. Altitude is a function of absolute pressure, therefore if a certain pressure is accomplished inside a vacuum chamber, a specific altitude can be simulated from the set pressure. Altitude simulation systems can be configured to not only hold a certain pressure, a complete pressure vs time profile can be programmed to be run. Furthermore, pressure vs time recipes can be loaded and run based on test requirements.
BNC Vacuum Feedthroughs
Coaxial Vacuum Feedthroughs are vacuum rated BNC connectors that enable you to run BNC from outside of vacuum chamber towards inside of the vacuum chamber without disturbing the vacuum. Triaxial Vacuum Feedthroughs, just like coax vacuum feedthroughs, will enable you to run Triax Connections from outside towards the inside of the vacuum chamber without disturbing the vacuum levels inside the vacuum chamber.

You are looking at our standard Acrylic Vacuum Chamber, Hinged Door with Clamps. There is only one difference; this vacuum chamber has a blank acrylic plate that is connected to and aluminum plate which in turn is anchored to the side wall of the acrylic vacuum chamber. This blank plate is there to enable our client to add vacuum feedthroughs to the side wall in the future
